Never Have I Ever…

Never Have I Ever, Choosing Human Linking up with The Circle

Today I decided to do something a little different. I’m linking up with Amanda at The Lady Okie today for the Circle Linkup. This month is not just a theme but a little game of Never Have I Ever, I’ll be including some things that I have done as well so you get to know me a little bit more. I have to say for my age I feel like I’ve done a lot so far in my life. Countless upon countless things I haven’t done yet but this just got me thinking of how fortunate I’ve been.

Never Have I Ever:

+ Been to London // I have gone to Manchester though.

+ Swam through the Great Barrier Reef // I have done extensive swimming through the reefs off the coast of Puerto Rico, including swimming alongside sting rays and sea turtles

+Gone to Disney World or any amusement parks in Florida // I did take my first Spring Break in Florida with Conor and watched him swim with dolphins…the water was too cold for me and I missed out!

+Gone to the West Coast for a vacation // I’ve gone to Portland, OR, San Diego and LA for internships and conferences.

+Flown First Class // I did fly from Germany to Philadelphia with no television and a carry on with only coloring supplies.. I’m an overpacker so I made a promise that trip to pack only necessities, I have unfortunately reverted back to my over packing tendencies after that extremely boring nine hour flight.

+Truly “enjoyed” eating meat // I was a vegan for over 5 years and even when I wasn’t vegan I can’t say I ever enjoyed a steak, I do however really enjoy seafood.

+Gone on a family vacation // we did more outings or day trips, we also lived on Long Island so the beach was always a quick drive away or we had our boat or pool. I was always doing something, just not going on week long vacations.

+Finished reading my entire bookshelf // I don’t think I will ever accomplish this.

+Taken a “tourist approach” to traveling // I am not someone who really plans my trip and packs my days from sunrise to sunset, I enjoy just getting lost in the places I visit. My trip to Rome is a perfect example.

+Taken a real yoga class // I don’t think I ever truly want to, I know what I need to work on and I enjoy my home practice.

+Gotten a full body massage // I’ve only ever gotten hand massages, facials and the occasion back massage from Conor.

+Been great at budgeting // I need to stop spending money and I always find excuses to buy something, I always end up “needing” it but it’s so not true! I’m working on this!!

So here is my Never Have I Ever list. Some things I would like to do and others not so much. Tell me about some things that you never have done and would love to!
